What I Do
Lighting is more than illumination, it shapes mood, focus, and emotion. I design creative lighting for theatre, concerts, festivals, and live events, working closely with directors, designers, and crews to support storytelling and bring productions to life.

My Process
- Concept & Collaboration — Working with the creative team to understand vision, themes, and mood.
- Plotting & Planning — Designing lighting plots, fixture choices, and positions that maximise effect.
- Lighting States — Creating contrasts, transitions, and effects that bring emotion to each scene.
- Technical Delivery — Cueing, programming, and operating consoles for a flawless performance.

The Railway Children
Co-directed with Alana Wright, Luke created the lighting, sound, video and set designs for this production at the Rondo Theatre.
Silent Wings
Written by Daisy Jorgensen, with music by Roy Page and directed by Scott Rogers this piece about children during the Holocaust opened at Burdall’s Yard before touring to the Lion and Unicorn at Camden Fringe.
Pencoweth
Written by Dan Lashbrook and Rob Pratt & directed by Petra Schofield, this production originally staged at the Rondo Theatre toured down to the Minack Theatre in Cornwall for a spectacular cliffside performance.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Staged by Zenith Youth Theatre Company this production featured a huge rainbow lit by 14 strands of LED tape, as well as numerous palm trees and batons and even a laser to create the cage in which Joseph was imprisoned.
