The Theatre Bath Bus

The Theatre Bath Bus was a unique mobile venue created onboard a converted single-decker bus. The idea was to take the arts to the heart of communities.

The bus ran for two years and offered fifty young people from Zenith Youth Theatre Company the chance to perform four shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it got rave reviews and won an award as Best Venue.

Additional Info

The Theatre Bath Bus was entirely crowdfunded by members of the community in Bath and the conversion work was carried out by Luke, Zoe, Jack and the team at Spirolux Ltd.

The bus went on to win the Creative Venue Award at the Creative Bath Awards.

It’s now moved on and is under the ownership of PitchBlack Mobile Stage.
